After providing therapy services for over 20 years in various government funded organizations Lori Gill, founder of ATTCH, observed a consistent need for attachment and trauma-specialized therapy and training. ATTCH was the first integrative trauma specific treatment centre of its kind in Canada. Since opening in 2013 the model used at ATTCH has been sought after by professionals, organizations and communities due to the lasting gains observed with our Integrative Trauma and Attachment Treatment Model (ITATM) ®. ATTCH specializes in training professionals, organizations and communities to become trauma informed or to provide trauma specialized intervention. Lori Gill is the founder of the Attachment and Trauma Treatment Centre for Healing (ATTCH), where she provides integrative trainings. Lori is also the founder and Clinical Director of ATTCH Niagara, and Lori Gill Psychotherapy where she leads a team of professionals in providing trauma-specialized treatment. Lori is also a part-time professor at Niagara College. She is a Registered Psychotherapist, Certified Trauma Specialist (CTS), a member of the Complex Trauma Treatment Affiliates Program (CTTA), and a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) Trauma Division.
Lori’s approach builds on 20+ years of clinical expertise and combines research, evidence-based practices, and innovative techniques to assist individuals, organizations and communities in becoming trauma-informed.
She is renowned for her innovative trainings including training in the Integrative Trauma and Attachment Treatment Model (ITATM)®. ITATM is an embodied model for reprocessing and reappraisal of the central details of trauma memories using somatic release, bilateral stimulation, visualization, resourcing and reframing in an integrative and structured manner to regulate the body, brain and mind simultaneously.
