Becoming Trauma-Informed and Skilled

ATTCH Trauma Informed Certification

If you want to understand how trauma affects the people you work with and how to effectively intervene when it appears, our training is for you. At ATTCH we have been training people worldwide in our effective and time-efficient approach for the past 15 years with great success!

ATTCH is pleased to offer a Trauma informed certification program to provide current, quality trauma and attachment training in Canada for individuals, clinicians, and organizations and trauma-integration training in our Integrative Trauma and Attachment Treatment Model (ITATM)™. Our program is quite comprehensive and holistic in nature, focusing on mind-body neuroscience and somatic approaches. We offer two certification streams, which are symbiotic, allowing for the potential to earn dual certifications. We also recognize that there are many people doing trauma integration and trauma processing work, which is why we have two different streams to meet your unique needs.

Why Two Certification Paths?

Why are there two different trauma informed certifications (CTIP and ITATM)?

We offer both because they serve different needs. CTIP is a designation that establishes your identity as knowledgeable and skilled in dealing with trauma. ITATM-A™ Certification is a model-specific credential proving you can execute our adapted 11-step somatic protocol.

Because we believe a great specialist should master great tools, we have aligned our training so that you can easily achieve Dual Certification in both streams simultaneously without duplicating your course hours or consultations.

  • CTIP is your Professional Identity (The “Who”): It certifies that you are a specialized, highly trained professional. It is the designation you put after your name (e.g., Jane Doe, CTIP™).
  • ITATM-A™ is your Clinical Tool (The “What”): It certifies that you have achieved high-fidelity mastery in this specific, trademarked treatment model. It tells the public and employers that you are licensed to practice our adapted, non-clinical 11-step ITATM™ protocol.
