As a leading edge treatment centre for healing trauma and attachment wounds we regularly receive request to recommend therapists providing services in other areas / communities. We typically do not recommend someone unless we are familiar with their work and understanding of trauma. As a result, we have created a directory of members who have completed one of our certification streams or our core training. A summary of each of these streams is included below.

**Please note that the requirements for each stream are quite different and as such should not be considered equivalent. Although we have trained many people only those who have opted to register are listed.

Certified Trauma Integrated Clinicians (CTIC)

Certified Trauma Integration Clinicians (CTIC) are professionals who generally hold a graduate degree or higher in Social Work or Psychology that have completed our comprehensive clinical certification program. This certification program focuses on building skills that allow the therapist to provide trauma and attachment specific services. Participants are extensively trained in our Integrative Trauma and Attachment Treatment Model Adapted  (ITATM-A) ® and have had the opportunity to review cases and receive feedback to deepen their awareness of the model. Our treatment approach is integrative and based upon leading edge and best practice treatments following trauma and / or attachment ruptures. Participants are required to complete a core 5-day training, inclusive of observing live demonstrations of the model and practicing as the therapist and the client. To further reinforce and deepen their application of the Integrative Trauma and Attachment Treatment Model Adapted  (ITATM-A) ® they have completed monthly or accelerated consultations, and completion of an exam. This certification is meant to be a process that allows the therapist to continue to build upon their knowledge and skills in these areas. Participants listed in this section have successfully completed the requirements for certification. ​*Participants must complete annual recertification training requirements to remain listed.

Certified Trauma Informed Practitioners (CTIP)

This certification program is open to anyone working in a holistic wellness or helping position with a desire to learn more about trauma and attachment. There are no pre-requisites for this training; information is presented at a practical and foundation building level. Individuals who have completed certification generally have an interest in creating a more trauma-informed community, workplace, and world. To be listed in this section confirms that members have completed the training requirements, four consultations and an exam.

ITATM Certified Clinicians

This training is open to professionals who generally hold a graduate degree or higher in Social Work or Psychology that have completed our comprehensive clinical training program. Participants listed below have completed the full 5 day training in our Integrative Trauma and Attachment Treatment Model (ITATM) ®. This training program focuses on foundational trauma and attachment knowledge as well as the implementation and applied practice of our Integrative Trauma and Attachment Treatment Model (ITATM™) . Participants listed in this section have completed the part 1 & 2 training in the ITATM™ including practical application components but have not yet completed part 3 which is a requirement of certification. They are trained to implement the Integrative Trauma and Attachment Treatment Model (ITATM™).

ITATM-Adapted Certified Professionals

This training is open to anyone working in a helping profession or holistic wellness position (yoga practitioner, occupational therapist, teacher, doctor) with a desire to learn more about trauma and attachment and our adapted processing model specific to non-clinical helpers. There are no pre-requisites for this training; information is presented at a practical and foundation building level and built upon throughout the training to provide practical and effective trauma integration and emotional regulation techniques. This training program focuses on foundational trauma and attachment knowledge as well as the implementation and applied practice of our Integrative Trauma and Attachment Treatment Model Adapted (ITATM-A) ®. Participants listed in this section have completed Part 1 & 2 training requirements of certification but have not yet completed Part 3 required for certification. They are trained to implement the Integrative Trauma and Attachment Treatment Model Adapted (ITATM-A) ®. ​​
